About the Role
Responsibilities
Data Exploration and Analysis:
• Explore and analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
• Utilize statistical methods and machine learning techniques to extract valuable information from structured and unstructured data.
Model Development:
• Design, develop, and implement machine learning models to solve business problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate models into operational systems.
Feature Engineering:
• Engineer features from raw data to enhance model performance.
• Work on feature selection and extraction techniques to optimize model accuracy.
Data Preprocessing:
• Clean and preprocess data to ensure data quality and integrity.
• Handle missing data, outliers, and other data-related challenges.
Predictive Modeling:
• Build predictive models for various business applications such as customer segmentation, churn prediction, and demand forecasting.
• Evaluate model performance and iterate on models to improve accuracy.
Requirements
2 - 4 years of Data Science experience required
Masters Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field is required
Deep Knowledge and Understanding of Personalization, Web/Mobile Analytics, and Customer Analytics
Strong python coding with production experience is preferred, MLops knowledge and experience is plus
At least 1 year of experience in Mining, Metallurgy, Manufacturing, Construction, Power and Energy industry sectors as consultant or any role.
Ability to apply various analytical models to business use cases and find the best modeling technique
Outstanding communication and collaboration skills to understand business partner needs and deliver solutions
Action-oriented with the ability to deliver outstanding results through task prioritization and time management
